Sunday Morning
There is a nursery available for infant and toddlers during Sunday school each week. We use a Workshop Rotation Model in our K-6th grade Sunday school. Major Bible stories and Theological concepts are taught in child-friendly multi-media workshops such as Art, Drama, Music, Games, Storytelling, Computers and Theater. Using a variety of learning styles, exciting Bible stories are communicated to the children. The same Bible story is taught in each of the areas for four or five weeks rotating the students to a different workshop each week. We have
"Walked Where Jesus Walked", gone fishing in the Jordan River, raised butterflies from the cocoon stage as we learned how this process represents the life of Christ. This year our focus is on the
Heroes of the Bible, Daniel, Joseph, and Moses to name a few. Sunday school begins at
9:30am on Sunday mornings.
There are classes for 7th-12th graders that deal with a variety of topics pertaining to society and faith, such as peer pressure, relationships, sexuality, friends etc. There are Sunday school classes for adults that meet in the church meeting room and in the parlor study. There are no classes during the summer months, however several other fellowship opportunities and mission related projects occur which welcome people of all ages. Classes resume on Rally Day which is the first Sunday after Labor day.

Holy Communion Instruction
Because we believe that by receiving Holy Communion,
God's grace, love and forgiveness are available to us. All who are baptized are welcome at the
Lord's table. Because we believe that all people of faith, regardless of
age are in need of the gifts our Lord gives at the table, Holy Communion is made available to children as early as kindergarten. The pastor engages parents in a prayerful consideration of when their child is ready to receive Holy
Communion. Formal class instruction and a retreat is offered to young people when they enter the second grade.
Confirmation (Catechism)
Confirmation is a three year program beginning
in the 5th grade using creative catechism materials. There are
opportunities for young people to serve on mission trips, and be involved
with adult mentors in relationship building, faith sharing experiences.

Our

follows the same format as our Sunday School Workshop Rotation, in which
children rotate from art to theater to games etc.
It
is a high-energy program with songs and games to learn.
Even the snacks are based on the Bible lessons.
There is a daily challenge for the children and a service project.

underprivileged areas. This
