Children and youth are vital to the congregational here at Emmanuel Lutheran. Our commitment to bringing the Gospel message to our children
and youth is realized through worship and active programs of education and appropriate well supervised activities and outings.
Worship
Children are welcomed in worship by children's sermons. Many begin a life of active service to the church as acolytes and servers, readers of lessons, ushers and greeters.
Activities
A Children's group meets monthly for ages K-6/ Youth group for grades 7-12 also meets monthly. Regular plans are now underway for community
cooperative youth events such as lock-ins, service, and trips. Community service projects help to teach children and youth good stewardship in an atmosphere that builds fellowship and awareness of the needs of others.
