Emmanuel Lutheran Church activities are open to all who would like to participate. You
don't have to be a member of the church to attend any of the group meetings or activities. For additional information on any of the activities listed
below, please contact the church office at (330)549-3207.
Children
A children’s group meets monthly on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 4pm-5:30pm. at the church. See
the calendar page for exact meeting and event
dates for this month.
Hand Chimes
The hand chime group meets on Mondays from 6:00pm-7:00pm. This group plays monthly for worship services and special events from October through June. It is not necessary to no how to read music to play in this group. To try it out, please contact the church office.
There will be a children’s hand chime group beginning this fall. To try out, contact the church office.
Rehearsals will resume on Monday, Sept 12th.
Women's Bible Study
The Women's Bible Study meets on Tuesday evenings from
7:00pm - 8:30 pm each week at the church. This is an opportunity for women to come together to be encouraged and grow in their faith journey through prayer, study, discussion, fun and fellowship. For more information please call Alice Podolinski @ (330) 549-3789

Men's fellowship
A men's fellowship group meets with two other Lutheran Churches in the area for breakfast and Bible study on the second Saturday each month at 8:00am. This group offers opportunities to grow in faith. The
men's fellowship group also participates in some mission work ventures together. Please check the monthly calendar for the location of the next meeting.
Outreach & Fellowship Circle
The Emmanuel Lutheran Church Women (Lydia Circle) meet on the fourth Thursday of each month at 9:30am in the church fellowship hall. All women are invited. There is a Bible study and this group participates in volunteer work around the church. Past projects have been done for Lutheran World Relief, and include filling
children's book bags, soap collections and in 2004 quilt making.
Monday night Bible Study
The Monday night Bible study is another opportunity to study God's word for living purpose filled lives. This group studies a wide range of topics and encourages spiritual growth and renewal.
Choir
The choir is a dedicated group of men and women who enjoy praising God in song with a variety of musical styles and arrangements. Karen Chikosky is our
director. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 7:00pm-
8:00pm.
